Kane Ogah Move to Real Madrid if Equated with MU Stars
Former Liverpool player Jamie Redknapp believes Harry Kane is a prime target for Real Madrid. However, Redknapp feels, Tottenham Hotspur star will survive if he is paid the same as Romelu Lukaku and Sergio Aguero.
Kane, in recent times, has always been linked with Real Madrid. The England forward will have the chance to show his potential applicants during the Champions League bout on Wednesday morning (18/10/2017) at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The two-time Golden Boot winner was very impressive at the start of this season. He has scored 15 goals in all competitions for club and country.
Therefore, no exaggeration if Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane, give praise to Kane. Zidane called Kane a “perfect” player.
However, former Tottenham midfielder Redknapp feels Kane – who is under contract until 2022 with Spurs – will not have to leave his club if rewarded financially unfit.
“But I think if Tottenham give him the money he wants, and pay him as they should, why would you want to go?
“He has to be above what is owned by Lukaku and [Manchester City forward] Aguero, all the best players in the world, but he is above them.”
Kane has scored six goals in eight Premier League games this season. His goal note is one adrift behind Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku.
Last season, the 24-year-old scored 29 goals, four more goals than Lukaku. Redknapp hopes the two players can compete again to win the award in the 2017-18 season.
“I [expect Kane’s achievements to continue] because he works very hard and mastered his skills.”
“I think between him and [Romelu] Lukaku, will have a good competition to win the top scorer award,” Redknapp said.
